First Aid and CPR are valuable skills that everyone should have. Who knows when you may be first on the scene when someone needs help quickly? This could happen any time, any place – and not just in a scuba diving situation.
Emergency First Response is an innovative CPR and first aid programme. Primary Care (CPR) teaches you how to deal with emergencies that are immediately life threatening. You will learn how to give Primary Care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice. Secondary Care (first aid) trains you to help those in need when Emergency Medical Services are either delayed or unavailable.
Emergency First Response is a prerequisite for the Stress and Rescue Diver course.
To be as well-prepared as you possibly can be for handling scuba diving emergencies, add the Emergency Oxygen Provider course to the Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver courses. Together, these three courses enable you to give the best possible care to a fellow diver in the event of an accident.
This course is also suitable for an HSE First Aid appointed person at work
