Young Divers

The minimum age for Junior Open Water Diver is 10 years, but you are only 8 years old. That means you are too young to learn to dive – doesn’t it?

Not so!

Our Scuba Rangers Club is specially designed for youngsters aged from 8 to approximately 12 years. Beginning with the Scuba Rangers Development Programme, children develop a solid foundation of basic scuba diving skills, learn about basic scuba theory and the aquatic environment, and have a lot of fun!

Young Divers, pool experience

Once the children have completed the Scuba Rangers Development Programme (or the PADI Master Seals programme, or who are Junior Open Water Divers) they are eligible to join the Scuba Rangers Club. The aim of the club is to keep our young divers active, to help them enjoy their diving with fun and educational sessions that will keep their skills up to date and teach them new skills whilst having a great time in the safe environment of the pool.

You can download information sheets for the Scuba Rangers Development Programme and Scuba Rangers Club.
