Rules for pool use and training

Rules for visiting the dive centre

A rigorous risk assessment has been carried out and relevant safety measures have been put in place to comply with all guidelines from the Government, our training agencies and their partners.(1)

A limited entrance policy is in operation at the dive centre and we reserve the right to restrict the number of people in store at any one time. Please limit visitors in the shop to those who actually need to come inside – leave companions and children at home or in your car.

In line with current medical advice, all those who are self-isolating or are in the high-risk categories should not visit the dive centre. If you have experienced any symptoms or been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please stay home!

When visiting the shop please:

Follow all signage and verbal communications

Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds on arrival using the handwash facilities to the left on entry (or use your own sanitiser if you prefer)

Respect the 2 metre distancing rule.  There are floor markings to help with this

Touch the stock as little as possible.  Items tried on will be quarantined and disinfected before being returned to the shop floor

Use contactless payment whenever possible

Ask non-essential companions to remain outside

We apologise that we cannot offer refreshments to customers at this time. Toilet facilities are for emergency customer use only.

We are now able to offer the following services:

While-you-wait air fills for diving and air guns

Retail sales

Collection of completed servicing, repairs and special orders

Training, including in-water (we are able to offer both on-site and online theory training for selected courses)

Drop off:

First aid Oxygen and Nitrox fills

Cylinder testing

Regulator/BCD servicing/repair

Suit repairs (limited)

Please note that servicing timescales are likely to be longer than average

We hope that all staff and customers have managed to cope through these troubling times. If we can help in any way, please let us know and we'll do the best we can to assist you. We are looking forward to seeing you all again!
